Lobster's the new Tan

Ellison striped blazer (similar) | James Pearse tee | Tangerine jeans via the Bay (similar) | Nude pumps (similar)
Odette Links necklace | Coco Curbchain bracelet | Rack and Sack watch | Coil bracelet (similar) | Essie polish

Sorry for skipping my Wedding Wednesday post yesterday! Other than the fact that it was unseasonably warm here [26 degrees! (that's a whopping 79 degrees for all you yanks!)] and I was working on my super sexy lobster glow [whoops!], I was down in the valley getting a couple details ironed out for the wedding. Since my day was centred around actual wedding planning I didn't feel too bad when I got home too late to care about editing photos. Instead, I opted to apply, re-apply and triple apply aloe to my very burnt knees - yeah, awkwardest of awkward burns.

I was a little silly in thinking that this outfit, although a new favourite, would be the right choice for our wonderful, beautiful mutant summer. I was wary of going full-summer because, come on, it's March; it just felt kind of wrong. So instead, I suffered through jeans and a cotton blazer and let me tell you, it was kind of sweaty... not that it matters as long as I can enjoy temperatures like these. Seriously folks, is it possible to be in love with weather?? I've been trying to hug the sky and it's just not working out very well...

  1. Ah we have crazy warm weather in Cinci too.  Usually we have snow this time of year.  I love it though.  This outfit is fantastic!

Hope your wedding planning is going well!

  4. the color looks great on you! I've been on the look out for some greenish blue ones!
knee burns are bad but the back of your knees is even worse. Hopefully this is a nice preview of what summer will really be.

  8. Loving these pants Sorren! I have been in love with coloured denim this spring...I think I'm going to have to go out and by a pair of neon yellow ones I've had my eye on today. I have a similar pair to the ones you are wearing in this post too!

  11. LOOOOOOVE.  Dare I say that I love it even more than the red skirt one that I pinned?  Maybe just because the season is changing so I'm spring-minded.  Either way, this outfit is FABULOUS.  I don't think I'll be getting over striped blazers anytime soon...and you are not helping.

  22. We usually have snow too... we actually may even get some on Monday :(  The planning is going well, we're just in the nailing-down stage now which is less fun than the daydreaming phase.. but it's still pretty fun
